gen2-SCA
RiverD’s confocal Raman gen2-SCA spectrometer is designed for in vivo skin analysis.
It allows in a few seconds the measurement of the concentration and the penetration of substances through the dermis and epidermis.
This may involve determining the concentration of intrinsic skin components (NMF) or following the migration of an active substance after the application of a topical. SkinTools3 software guides the technician through all steps of measurement and analysis, and allows to overcome expertise in Raman spectroscopy to obtain accurate and reliable results. It offers a library of calibrated substances Raman spectra, which can be easily enriched by new molecules. The gen2-SCA is intended for research institutes, skin testing laboratories and cosmetics manufacturers.
